LSAT Prep Recommended
LSAT suggestions.?

I was planning on writting LSAT in june, and to start studying for it in May. So for roughly a month and 10 days. This is however studying at full time basies. Roughly devoting 3-5 hrs a day.
Here are my following questions:
a) Am I giving sufficient time? or should wait to write in October? I just dont have any school in summer so I can focus more where in as October would have school.

b) Can anyone recommend any specific study material. I've heard good things about Princeton Review.

c) The prep courses, are they any good? helpful? if so please recommend.

Thank you and your help is much appreciated.

A) Start earlier if you can. This is not a cram-type of test where you can learn all the ideas in a short time. Better to spend a little bit each day over a long period of time. If you can start now, do so. Otherwise, start in May, then see how you are scoring when the June test gets close. If you are doing well, give it a shot. If not, then push your test date back to September.

B) The best study guides I found were the Powerscore Bibles. I did a lot of studying, and these were the three best books I used, and all three use real questions:

1. Powerscore Logic Games Bible
2. Powerscore Logical Reasoning Bible
3. Kaplan LSAT 180

Princeton stuff wasn't bad, it just wasn't my favorite material.

C) Yes, I think they help a lot. The main benefits of a class are that they lay out the strategies for you so you don't have to figure them out on your own, and you also have a source to go to when you have questions or need help. They also provide plenty of study material, and that material is organized in a particular way.

After reading their books and taking the course, I'm a Powerscore fan. The material we used in class was really good with lots of drills and practice questions, and the instructor for my class was on the ball. My score jumped up into the 170s so I was really happy.
