LSAT question?
i havent taken the LSAT yet, but have been taking practice LSATS for the month. my average score is 153.
i know that isnt a competitive score, so I am considering canceling my scheduled june 16 LSAT.
i plan to improve my skills by taking a prep class.
however, i am curious about whether or not it is a good idea to take the LSAT, and if I dont do as well as I want, retake it.
do law schools average out the scores? say I got a 143 on one test, and a 160 on the other. or would schools use my latest score?

I took it twice. I made a huge improvement the second time by taking a prep class through Kaplan. Some schools will average the two scores. Some will look at the second one only. I'm lucky because I got into every school I applied to and most of them gave me a substantial scholarship, so my first one must not have been that big of a detriment.
Personally, I would wait until you're confident that you'll get a good score and have taken the prep class that you already know you're going to take. Why waste your time and energy prepping for an exam that you already feel you're going to retake?
