LSAT Prep Blueprint

LSAT Prep Blueprint
Best Online LSAT Prep Course?

Powerscore virtual course or Blueprint the Movie? Need some genuine advice before I drop the $

Personally, I am a PowerScore fan ( http://www.powerscore.com ). I took their LSAT class back when I was prepping and I have now started teaching there. I obviously know a lot more about the PowerScore course than the Bluprint course, but as far as I can tell, there are some significant differences between the two. Before noting the differences I see, I will say I've heard decent things about Blueprint, so I'm not trying to attack them here.

The PowerScore course is a total of 81 hours, whereas the Blueprint class is 42 hours. All 42 hours of BP course are pre-recorded sessions. 35 hours of the PS course are actual live sessions conducted online, and the other 45 hours are prerecorded. So, besides a longer course, the PS course has a significant live component.

During those live course hours, there are two PS instructors online--one teaches the lecture, and the other answers questions directly from students. So, you can ask questions privately that are specific to you without interuppting the flow of the class. And you can also go back after class and watch the whole lesson again if you want.

As far as teachers, the PS classes are taught by senior instructors who have taught multiple live classes with stellar student ratings and have all scored in the 99th percentile. The online modules are taught by our founder (the guy who wrote the LSAT Bibles) and other our LSAT course developers, meaning you are hearing directly from the people who made the course.

Both courses give you a copy of every LSAT question currently available, so that's equal.

Overall, it looks like they are slightly cheaper, but PS has almost twice as many course hours and includes live classes which they don't have.

That's about all I see at the moment, but I'll check around and update with any further info I hear. Regardless, no matter what choice you make, good luck with your preparation!
