Who has taken the Kaplan LSAT program? Did it help you any?
God, I hope it helps me. I'm taking diagnostic and practice exams any my scores are the pits.
I'll be happy with a 155-157, that's what I'm shooting for.
How many raw points and percentage points did it help you? Or, how much does it help the average LSAT taker?
Thanks!
I've heard and experienced only bad things about Kaplan. Their structure is very confusing and is not conducive to how students typically study the LSAT. I took the Princeton Review, which was more expensive, but actually ended up being cheaper per hour you spent in class. Their methods were more organized. They worked on each section separately, got your accuracy up, then worked on speed. With Kaplan, you bounce back and forth a lot in the class. Days before the LSAT I ended up trying to teach some of the Kaplan students the methods that I learned in Princeton. Princeton personally raised my score 11 points. My suggestion? If you're going to spend the money, don't spend it on Kaplan.
