Anyone know copyright law?

We're buying a license so that we can put hymns into our orders of service. One of the hymns we want to do is set to a different melody in the hymnals in my fiance's church. The publisher of that hymnal is not listed by the license we're getting. However, the melody (Hyfrydol) and the lyrics ("Lord you Give the Great Comission") are both covered by the license.

From what I can tell I'm ok to copy it from that book then, as I have the rights for both the lyrics and the music. Does this sound right to other people, or are we out of luck because it doesn't cover that combination?

The copyright acknowledgement at the bottom of the sing lists two different companies, one for the lyrics and one for the music. Both of the listed companies are covered by the license we're purchasing.

By the way, we're in Canada, not that I think it makes a difference.

Unless you have some unusual musical arrangement, Hyfrydol as composed by Pritchard is in the public domain. The text "Lord you gave the great commission" is copyrighted, and the copyright is owned by Hope Publishing. If your license covers texts for which Hope Publishing owns the copyright, then you are covered no matter what other publications may be authorized to use the text.
