Editor or Publisher I DON'T KNOW WHICH TO BE. HELP!?
Okay so, I am pretty smart in school.. not bragging but you know what I mean. I'm in all the gifted courses, and I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.
My passion is editting and publishing books, but that job doesn't make much money especially when you just begin. And face it, in Canada to me a high-flying editor of a magazine like the girl from the devil wears prada is just an imposible dream.
I have the capabilities to be a doctor, and a lawyer or go into business. I am only in grade 10, but I've taken law and business courses and gotten over 90.
But I don't want to spend my life doing business or law, I want to spend it reading or writing. Can anyone give any suggestions, or ways to be an editor or publisher and get money?
You should pursue your desires if they continue.
There is no reason that you cannot go into a profession and continue your other career as well.
I know someone who is a very successful entertainment attorney but continues with a secondary (in terms of Income) career in directing music.
