Should I break up with my boyfriend to study for the bar exam?
My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 5 years. Last January, I moved an hour and half away to attend law school. Every time finals comes around, we fight a lot. I get very irritable and he is not considerate of how stressful law school exams are. I am scheduled to take the Bar Exam next June and am wondering whether it would be in my best interest to break up with him before I start studying. I do love him but I cannot handle him and studying. Something has to give. Please help.
And what does he do for a living...work at McDonalds? IF you have been together for five years and don't have support for your future career (where you will have a big income and have to work some hard hours anyway...) then you should just break it off. Or if you really do love him then take a break. If he is a bitch about that idea then do it anyway and don't come back. Chances are you will be better off anyway and will be able to find someone who appreciates what you do and supports you no matter what.

St. Charles North grad making a name for himself
Andrew Strenk is busy building an acting career for himself in Chicago. The St. Charles North High School graduate has appeared with several city companies, worked on an independent film last summer and is serving as an understudy for the male lead in "Mrs. Caliban," which opens in previews Feb. 5 and runs Feb. 15 through March 28 at Lifeline Theatre, 6912 N. Glenwood Ave., Chicago.
