Preparing for Law School.?

I am currently a soph. in college and I am strongly considering going to law school.
I am planning on ordering several prep books and perhaps take an online course to prepare for the LSAT. I have a few questions that I am concerned about:

*My Gpa is currently a 3.0 (soph. standing) . Realistically speaking, if I take 16-18credits every semester for the next 2 years and get a majority of A's and a couple of B's, how many points can I raise my GPA by the time I apply to Law school?

*Do I take the LSAT test my senior year of college or AFTER I graduate...

*suppose I go to law school in state to save money, pass the bar, but want to practice law in a different state? Do I have to take a bar exam in compliance to the state I want to practice law in?

Well I can't answer the first part about the LSAT because my law school did not require me to take it (per se).

However, with regards to the bar exam. Depending on which state you live in, it may have what is known as "reciprocity ." Meaning, other states will allow you to practice in their state without taking their bar. I believe that there is a 35 state segment which grant each other reciprocity . However, I think that you have to have a ABA accredited degree in order to inherent reciprocity . However, other states grant no reciprocity (like California) and you must take their bar in order to practice in that state.
